Blake Torkelson shot this 8-point buck on Sunday, November 4th, 2007, opening weekend in northern Minnesota. The buck walked out of the woods about 500 yards away and chased 4 does into another wooded area.
About 1 hour later the does started coming back out of the woods. Then, 1/2 hr later the buck came out about 330 yds away. I was too high the first two shots. Then, I put the crosshairs on his spine with my remington model 700 25-06, 120 gr fusion bullets. I dropped him right there in his tracks!
